Getting Read to Move

I'm so cool.

I thought this week, I'd start with this picture, since it epitomizes what Liam thinks about himself right now..."I'm SO cool!" Liam is convinced that he can do anything that Daddy can and wants to help with everything. From vacuuming:

To watering the lawn:

Playing with the hose.

And just helping Daddy clean out the outside closet:

Helping Daddy.

He even thinks he is big enough to decide that this is perfectly safe:

Unfortunately, as we have been getting ready for the move, Liam has had to go to school full-time this past week. The good thing is that he loves it so much. He is really going to miss his teachers and friends there and I'm not going to want to take him anywhere else. I LOVE being home with him and finding a new place that I"m happy with is not going to be easy. We've been very lucky with his current school. Friday was his water day, so he got to wear a new outfit from Aunt Katherine and Grandpa Basye:

Ready for water day.

He has just one more therapy session before we move. His OT told me last week that she is almost positive that he will exit OT services, which is great! She hopes for him to be kept with the developmental teacher and expects that he'll pick up speech services. Everything will transfer to Virginia and he will be evaluated again there. Also, the OT said that his low muscle tone in his legs is going away, so Yay!

The big thing for the upcoming week is the actual move. Liam and I will fly to Virginia Beach on Thursday and Daddy and Grandpa Basye will meet us there on Sunday. We are so excited to be leaving and to be near family again. As you can see, Liam definitely wants out of here:

Get me out of El Paso!

Thank goodness we are almost ready to go!

Hi There
