5/21/06 Liam is 19 months today. Daddy went to DC this past week because his unit that he commanded won a major award and he got to visit with Cousin Benjamin. Liam and I had a great week together with a trip to the pediatricians and two therapy appointments. The good news is that he is doing so well and finally is beginning to seem more like his age.
Liam is off and running with most things. He is doing really well in his new classroom and napping in the cots there (although he is still in his crib at home and will stay there for quite some time). He is becoming a lot more independent and able to communicate soooo much better. Both therapists were thrilled with his progress in such a short time. Liam, of course, thinks he's 25 and can do anything that Taylor or I can do and does not want any help with anything. It's pretty funny, actually.
The best news of the week is that Taylor will be going to George Mason, so we will be moving to Northern Virginia in July!!!! We can finally breathe a sigh of relief. We are so excited to be finally able to give Liam a real home (especially since this one is literally falling apart more and more each day....sort of a quiet suicide before they tear it down this summer). Liam and I have just one more week of school and will be home preparing for the move this summer. Counting down the days...just five left and I'm a stay-at-home-mom.....finally!!!!
