Let the Summer Games Begin!

After our adventurous camping trip this weekend, Liam kept us very busy to kick off the summer. Yesterday afternoon was spent ensuring that all of our time was focused on him. If we did turn around, he was running down the aisle of Blockbuster or trying to get into the neighbor's house, as you can see here:

Today was just as busy. Liam spent much of the morning running around the house and "reorganizing" things for us. Taylor and I caught him playing Xbox World Cup Soccer in the back and having a blast (he thinks he won and we're not telling him any different):

You would think all this running around and playing games that Mr. Man would be exhausted. If you thought this, you would be wrong. He spent over an hour acting tired, but not sleeping whatsoever. This is the closest he got for a long time:

In the end, he eventually succumbed and woke up for a first summer swim. He had a blast splashing up a storm and getting us all wet:

He also loved putting his face in the water:

In the end, Mr. Man was ready for a post-swim snack....

and was finally tired out enough for heading off to bed. But not without a salute to Daddy's new school!
